Sara Raike

On June 24, 2014 among family and friends in Asheville, North Carolina, Sara promised to give Matt the best of herself in "all of life's joys and adversities." By their first wedding anniversary, Matt was diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer.

Sara's continuing love is nothing short of inspiring. She put everything on hold and worked a part-time job to help support their family while being ever-present in caring for him. She is also a dedicated advocate for cancer awareness and research. 

A beautiful couple, Sara and Matt's love, tenacity, compassion, and good hearts have touched every life they encountered. Sadly, Matt passed away on July 2, 2017.

Please family, friends, and communities contribute to our campaign. The funds will be used to help Sara with end-of-life costs, debts, and anything she needs moving forward.
