Sara Moss Memorial Scholarship Fund

In an effort to keep lit a flame of the brilliant blaze of kindness, compassion, perseverance and devotion to family and friends that encapsulated Sara Moss, her family is establishing an annual scholarship in her memory. We lost her bright light on September 3rd, 2019, and we hope that this will be the first of many years to keep her memory alive.
Those who were lucky enough to know Sara know how contagious her laugh was, and how her smile and energy could fill an entire room. She loved her family and friends fiercely and would do anything she could for them. She always had a smile for a stranger and those she briefly met, she touched, and they remember her. As a single mother, Sara’s number one passion was her son and one cannot remember her, without remembering them, together as a team. Sara struggled, knowing she wanted a better life for her son and herself. She always had an interest in the law having worked at a lawyer’s office as an assistant. It seemed the next step was going back to school for Paralegal Studies, and so she did, graduating with honors. She loved her career and was working for a criminal and family lawyer at the time of her unexpected passing.
In honor of Sara, the scholarship is aimed to assist students in financial need that want to pursue a career in the field of Paralegal Studies. This scholarship is for students that will be attending Broward College. Our goal is to reach $2500, enabling us to distribute $500 to 5 deserving students. Please donate what you can, as every little bit gets us closer to our goal.
