On June 22, 2017 at approx 8pm I was cycling on Paredes Ln. Road in Brownsville when I lost control of my bicycle and crashed. I sustained several (5) pelvic fractures, a hip fracture and 2 cracked ribs 1 displaced. I have a long road to recovery currently I'm at a Nursing Home learning how to walk and care for myself so that I may go home soon.
I have had mounting medical bills, copays, deductibles and expenses not covered by my insurance. I haven't wanted to ask for help. As you all may know I'm a single parent and it's been a hardship to maintain our basic bills and these additional medical expenses. Also there are some home repairs that need to be done inorder for my home to be handicap accessible. All this is weighing heavy on my mind. You all know this is hard for me to ask, if I could find a different way I would.
