Sadaqah Jariyah for Ayeeyo Fadumo

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi rajioon.

To Allāh (SWT) we belong and to Him, we shall return!

The eyes are shedding tears and the heart is grieved, and we will not say except what pleases our Lord.

On 03.08.2023, we lost our beacon of light. My dear grandmother, Fadumo Hussein Warsame, returned to her Lord in Borama after a short period of illness following a stroke. They say you only understand the brightness of a light once it's been dimmed and no truer words describe my grandmother better.

We are seeking your generous support in contributing to Ayeeyo Fadumo's Sadaqah Jariyah. One of the best ways to take part in Sadaqah Jariyah (an ongoing charity) is by building a well. We would like to build a well to act as Sadaqah Jariyah for my grandmother Allah yarhamha. May this be accepted and weigh heavily on her scales.

Abu Qatadah reported:

The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The best of what a man leaves behind are three: a righteous child who supplicates for him, ongoing charity the reward of which reaches him, and knowledge that is acted upon after him.” [ Source: Sunan Ibn Mājah 237 ]

We hope to continue her legacy by starting this Sadaqa Jaariya on her behalf. We pray that even after her death, She continues being the beacon of hope she was during her lifetime. May Allāh accept it from her and us.

May Allah grant Ayeeyo Fadumo Hussein Warsame Jannat-ul-firdous, make her steadfast in the questioning of the grave and make her grave spacious for her.

O Allah, forgive her and elevate her station among those who are guided. Send her along the path of those who came before, and forgive us and her, O Lord of the worlds. Enlarge her grave and shed light upon it.

O Allah, forgive her and have mercy on her and give her strength and pardon her. Be generous to her and wash her with water, snow and hail. Cleanse her of her transgressions as white cloth is cleansed of stains. Give her an abode better than her home, and a family better than her family. Admit her into Paradise and protect her from the punishment of the grave [and from the punishment of Hell-fire]

May Allāh grant all the contributors to this fund and their families khair in both Dunya and Akhira.
