Hi I'm Valerie the Mother of Saphira a Beautiful 6months old babygirl. Saphira had a very traumatic Birth. From her 2nd day of life she has been 24/7 on a neogastric tube(nose tubefeeding) She doesn't have the natural Instinct of Eating. We've been trying everything possible to try and help our daughter to eat. She's been to IWK and got some testing done but No Results of any kind yet to explain the reason why. Saphira is now 6months old and with no diagnosis of what is the problem yet it is time to make the decision of making the tube installed in her stomach for the time needed. Saphira will be getting an IWK appointment booked within the next 2-3weeks for the surgery.

As her mother I'm making this fundraiser to help us accommodate with travel expenses for Myself and Dad so we can make it possible for our daughter to make it there when the date comes and to be by her side in Halifax.
