Santillano Family Needs a New Home

Donation protected
Dear Friends and Family,

It's George here, and I hope this posting finds you well and blessed. I wish that I could reach out to each and every one of you personally, unfortunately I am confined to a medical bed with a need for 24/7 care. Most of you know that for the past 17 years of my life I have struggled with a rare muscle disease called Inclusion Body Myositis. This auto-immune disease has left me quadriplegic, forever bed bound, and ventilator dependent. I thank God that I am still able-minded and that regardless of what this disease has taken from me physically, my mind is sharper than ever and I am able to watch over my family and be present in their lives.

My family is the best thing I have in my life in addition to my relationship with The Lord Our God. If it wasn't for Him I would have great difficulty coping. He gives me great comfort and strength in knowing that when he comes for me I will be whole again.

The Lord has blessed me with my wife Cece, she has had  to care for me and carry  this family for the last 12 years of our 21 year marriage. My two boys work as hard as they can to support her in caring for me. My family has sacrificed a "normal" life to assure that I am safe and as healthy as I can be.

I am coming to you today in this platform, because it is the only way I can help them. I am hoping you can help me in taking away one of our biggest worries. Our landlord promised us 2 years in our current home, and has now decided after a year to ask for their home back with the intent to sell it. This means that my family has to undergo the extremely difficult task of moving again. Aside from the common stresses of moving, my family has to find a place that can accomodate my medical necessities and it is beginning to seem like this task is impossible, especially with the amount of money that renters are asking for these days. With this unexpected request from our landlord and the market we live in, my family is completely unprepared. Our last day in this home is November 30th. I am abundantly grateful for any contribution, large or small, that you can give to help my family. The money raised here will be used for first and last month's rent, a security deposit, and the expenses it takes to move my medical machines. I will be in touch and keep everyone updated on the outcome of this situation. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart, we love you all so much and if you can't give monetarily... please... send us a prayer.

Thank you,

George Santillano
