Santiago-Vega Hurricane Relief

My name is Liana Valentino, I'm from Charlotte, North Carolina. As you all know, hurricanes Irma and Maria have left the Caribbean in devastation. My grandma, aunts, uncles, and cousins in Ciales, Puerto Rico have lost most of their belongings due to the hurricanes and they need help rebuilding. Since Maria hit the island, we have not yet had the opportunity to speak directly to any of them. We've been relying on second hand information and the word is that the damage was so severe it could be weeks until we are able to hear their voice. They currently have no water and no electricity. I don't know how they are doing with food or drinking water. My cousin has two babies and one on the way. They lost the kids' cribs, furniture, appliances, etc. With my grandma's medical issues she needs certain meds which need to be refrigerated and we wanted to get her a generator. The American Red Cross is already in Puerto Rico but their primary focus is on the metro/tourist areas. From previous experience, it will be a while before they reach the smaller towns. We need your help. I have created this go fund me account with hope to raise some money to help our family. Money will go towards travel costs to get my family to the United States as well as repairing the destruction and replacing any belongings taken by the storm.
