I am honored to announce that I have been selected to participate in the USA Water Polo National B team that will travel to Budapest, Hungary this summer. I have been selected as one of the top water polo players in the United States. From August 1st to August 3rd, I will travel to Stamford, Connecticut to train with some of the best athletes in the United States, along with being coached by some of the most experienced individuals in the sport. Following our training session, I will fly out to Budapest to play against the top athletes in the world.
I have been blessed to participate in many different events throughout my water polo career; including participating in international tournaments such as HaBa WaBa. In 2015, 2016, and 2017, I went to Canada to participate in this tournament, where in 2015 and 2017, I was named the Most Valuable Player. In 2017, 2018, and 2019, I was selected to participate as a part of the Northeast and Great Lakes ODP (Olympic Development Program) teams in which I traveled to California to play against the top athletes in the United States. Following that experience in 2017, I was selected to participate in NTSC (National Team Selection Camp). In 2017 and 2018, I participated in the Junior Olympics in California, representing my club, Princeton Tigers Aquatics, on the 18U team as a 15 year old.
I would like to thank my family, friends and all of my coaches for always supporting me and pushing me to work my hardest. None of my goals could be accomplished without all of the support that I have received throughout my journey.
I am so grateful to be able to support my own journey by working extra hours as a lifeguard and doing little jobs around the neighborhood. My goal is ,$4,000 and would greatly appreciate any additional help funding this endeavor. Water polo is not just a hobby for me; it has taught me leadership, respect, responsibility, and loyalty. I am beyond grateful to be involved in such an amazing program to help my dreams come true, and would appreciate any donation towards my National Team journey.
