<div>I didn't wake up one day thinking: "I will start a little food bank for my neighbours", it just developed slowly and organically over time and now I am doing this since 5 years!

<div>To keep the shelves well stocked like in the photos on top and at the bottom of this text, I rely on donations that allow me to buy groceries and basic hygiene and cleaning supplies.

<div>A typical weekly order starts with 10-15kg potatoes, 18l milk, several kilos of pasta etc. plus a lot more like cleaning products, toilet paper and so on.
</div>

<div>Keeping the shelves stocked costs a <strong>minimum</strong> of 500 Euros/month. And that is really the <strong>bare minimum</strong> for the most basic supplies to help those of my neighbors that experience food insecurity and other needs.
</div>

<div>Therefore, <strong>to cover all of 2025 </strong>I have set the fundraising goal to 5,000 Euros, an amount which allows for a bit of margin for, sadly expected, price increases and some extras for special days such as Easter, St.James Day, Christmas and the like.

<div>My little neighborhod pantry is a small set up that helps 16-20 people of all ages directly, but these people also share the goodies with their extended families, so the number of people that I am helping is certainly larger than 20.
