Santa Rosa Voiceless Victims

Hi my name is Louie Gutierrez a Radio Programmer in Santa Rosa, on KBBF 89.1 FM, The Roseland Report , Wednesdays 4 to 6 pm, on our last broadcast we got chilling news that undocumented residents of Santa Rosa were not using shelters, there were reports of men sleeping in the woods, families walking without facemasks and if they were they were not the appropriate masks, using wet towels to stop dust from coming into their homes, there were reports of price gauging, people without insurance not going to the hospitals, some local businesses called the station to offer parking lots for people to camp over night, taco trucks offered their kitchens, people offered their homes to strangers so they could shower, reports were coming out that residents could not return to their communities witout proper documentation, one of the reasons some did not go to shelters was because they were asking for their names and ID, people were scared of being deported, of course many local businessses gave plenty, again this community of undocumented population may not be present when insurance companies rebuild, the city and county hand out help, that is why we are starting this campaign to help that disenfranchised community of Santa Rosa. 

We want to target immigrant families, everyday immigrant workers, give them a little extra money in their pockets, so they can take their family, loved ones out for a movie, dinner, pay a PG&E bill, first months rent, register their car, anything that a little extra money can do, depending on the success of this drive, money will be shared acordingly.

I invite you to contribute to this fund so we can go out to the Latino Community of Santa Rosa and personally give out pre-paid debit cards listen to personal stories and their needs if we raise good money we can do more, its not just me working this campaign we are more but this page has my name on it to make it more credible, thanks for your attention.
