South Santa Cruz County needs masks now! SUPPORT PPE4CC
Our all-volunteer Project PPE for the Central Coast (ppe4cc.org) has been doing a tremendous amount of on-the-ground work to provide Covid-19 protection for those who need it the most: healthcare workers, farmworkers, other essential workers, families in food programs, teens and young adults in car clubs, and children in Head Start.
Since March 2020 we have distributed over 50,000 reusable cloth masks, tens of thousands of infographics on how to clean and use them, and tens of thousands of N95s and locally fabricated face shields.
HELP US RAMP US TO GET MASKS TO STUDENTS TOO!
100% of your donation goes to purchasing in bulk high-quality reusable cloth masks to distribute to public school students in South Santa Cruz County as well as farmworkers. The communities in South Santa Cruz County have been the hardest hit by COVID-19, at 4 times the rate of North County. More transmissible variants are now endangering these communities that are also facing inequities in income and healthcare.
Masks are an essential layer of protection.
