Santa Cruz Fire Support Fund

The last few days the CZU August Lightning Complex Fire has caused some of the worst destruction to our historic state parks and over 527 structures in Santa Cruz County. Burning over 1.2 million acres of land, it's the largest fire in the area since 1947. 

It's with a heavy heart, I recently discovered out of the 527 structures 3 were family homes of close friends that evacuated with what they could and leaving everything else behind in hope that they could return to it all soon. This is what remains of the 2 homes.


It's heartbreaking knowing they're now trying to figure out where to begin and start to work their way back to normalcy.  With your help, I'd like to make it a little bit easier for them to get through this by helping with some unexpected financial burdens; hotels, meals, clothing, and other necessities.
