Sant Cruz Disabled Assault and Robbery Victim

Hi my name is Mary Lou Sanders and I am fundraising for my friend Kwan Levy.

On August 15th 2022, Kwan was attacked by unknown assailants as he headed home from downtown Santa Cruz in his wheelchair. The assailants took his backpack, his wallet and cell phone.

I am raising money for Kwan to help him replenish the money that was taken from him and repair his wheelchair that was damaged during the attack.

Kwan is a remarkable and resilient man who has been through so much. He keeps a positive outlook on life, regardless of what adversity comes his way. Kwan enjoys helping newly paralyzed individuals become familiar with the challenges that their new immobility presents, offering encouragement and advice from his own personal experience.

Kwan has an infectious smile and spirit that lights up a room. He is a survivor and a positive influence on others facing life’s challenges.

My goal is for Kwan to receive the tangible support that he so greatly needs.
