Service projects in Oaxaca, Mexico

Donation protected
The San Jose Partnership project is a Seattle-area volunteer organization working in collaboration with the village of San Jose, Mexico, on community development and health projects.

In summer 2017, we are leading a service trip to San Jose to work on two new projects: a children’s play space for the village elementary school and repairs to a road that links San Jose with neighboring villages.

Please consider making a donation toward our fundraising goal of $6,000 to support the two projects! Remember that 100% of your donation goes directly toward materials needed for the work, including cement, wood, rebar, and paint.

The community has asked for our help to create a safe place for younger children to play near San Jose’s elementary school. In addition, winter storms have washed out part of a critical road linking San Jose with neighboring Tierra Caliente, and the two communities would like our help with road repairs.

We're excited about the opportunity to launch these projects and to continue our long friendship with the people of San Jose and Tierra Caliente.

On behalf of these two communities, we are so grateful for the generous support of our donors who make this work possible. Muchisimas gracias!
