Sandy Soldaczewski (Wilczynski) Recovery Fund

On Jan. 27, 2019, my sister, Sandy (Wilczynski) Soldaczewski’s life changed forever.  She had just arrived at her daughter’s home to prepare for a family gathering when she suffered full cardiac arrest.  Her son-in-law performed CPR and she was transported to ICU and placed in a medically-induced coma. Her condition was extremely critical and family stayed at her bedside for days.  Doctors determined Sandy had significant blockage and would require heart surgery, however she was too weak to proceed and would have to regain strength. Sandy spent 4 long weeks in the hospital followed by extensive rehab.  She was readmitted to the hospital in April and underwent a successful triple bypass. She is finally home. We are so grateful for the life-saving response of her son-in-law and for the staff and care she has received up to now.  Sandy’s extensive hospital stay, surgery and rehab has taken a toll on the family emotionally and financially. Despite insurance, they are left with tremendous medical bills as an added stressor. I would love to ease some of the financial burden for her as she begins her long road to recovery.
