Sandy Ploy's "CANCER SUCKS" Medical expenses

When I first met Sandy, I knew we were meant to be friends. Her quick wit, sassy, sarcastic self was so refreshing and hilarious. As our friendship has grown, I have learned how much of a generous, sensitive soul she really is. Not one to love attention, she is always there to shine a spotlight on her friends and often enough even on strangers. Sandy religiously rallies behind others and supports them through their ups and downs. While she will be the one to stand by your side and help you during the rough patches, she is not good at asking for help when she needs it. Being self employed and self insured, these past two years have already been tough to say the least. Just days before this past Christmas, Sandy got the call that she has Breast Cancer. She has already undergone surgery, but she has a long road ahead of recovery from surgery as well as the impending rounds of radiation and chemotherapy. Not only are the costs of surgery, and treatment high, Sandy most likely will not have the energy, strength or mental clarity to continue working on the clients she had finally started to get back from the pandemic loss. Any money raised will help to ensure that Sandy can focus on her recovery process and not financial issues.

From a social media post Sandy posted on the eve of her first surgery ** “ I do much better being the one who rallies the troops to support my friends than I do being the one on the receiving end. I'm super uncomfortable talking about it. I would rather post about yummy food and tasty music than deal with any of this.”
