Time to Help Sandy Mansfield

Friends, neighbors and the community of Crowley and surrounding cities in Texas.  NOW is the time to step up to help our Sandy!  Sandy Mansfield has been the guardian of our community and animals at the City of Crowley Animal Shelter for the past 38 YEARS.  If you have been blessed to know Sandy, she is an amazing, strong, generous, selfless and supportive member of our community.   Sandy takes great pride in her work and helping others with an infinite passion for pets and people too.  Sandy is a loving mother, friend, grandmother (Gigi), sister and neighbor.  She has worked with and been a role model and mentor for countless youths, volunteers and general public fortunate enough to walk into her shelter.   

In January, just a few short weeks ago, Sandy was diagnosed with leiomyosarcoma - a rare type of cancer that affects smooth muscle tissue.  Chemotherapy started this week and Sandy is now fighting for her life!   She is being treated locally with consultations also with M.D. Anderson in Houston.  Medical bills are expected to be upwards of $25,000 - including the chemotherapy, food formulas, medical equipment and transportation. 

Sandy never asks for help, so her pack of family and friends are asking for her.  Sandy has given so much to all of us over the years...now is the time to come together to shower Sandy with our love and support!  All funds raised will be used for Sandy's medical bills and care.   We must come together to take this worry away from Sandy and her family so she can concentrate on healing!  Lets show her our love with the power of our pack!  The time to help is now as this diagnosis has come as a complete shock to everyone.  Every dollar counts!  Please donate to this fundraiser and send prayers for our Sandy ❤  Thank you in advance for your generosity and we will keep you updated.  #teamsandy
