Sandy Policastro Memorial Fund

Friends and Family,   
 
It is with my sincere condolences to the Policastro and Cortina family after the loss of their beloved wife, daughter, aunt, sister, godmother and special friend to many, Sandy Cortina Policastro.  
As many know, Sandy was a pillar in the community, from running her own Psychology Practice, Hyde Park Child and Family Therapy, to dedicating countless hours to Gurlup, a video blog dedicated to the self-esteem, confidence and empowerment of young girls and women.  

Sandy was battling a lifelong illness, known as Antiphospholipid Antibody Syndrome. She has been beyond strong, brave and fearless enduring this battle. Due to an unexpected spontaneous brain hemorrhage, a beautiful life was taken too soon. Her selfless actions through her professional field are continued by the amazing gift of life she has left through organ donation.  
At this time, we are asking for you to keep the family in your thoughts and prayers. We are asking for donations to assist the immediate family and her beloved husband through this difficult time.
