Together We Can Change a Life

The Sunrise Children's Villages (SCV) are located in Phnom Penh, Siem Reap and Sihanoukville, Cambodia. SCV started in September 1993, following the first visit by Geraldine Cox. Since that time, three centers have been created. SCV provides education, medical care, a home for orphaned, abandoned, and disadvantaged Cambodia children.

The third and latest Sunrise Children's Village was made possible by the generous sponsorship of Computershare, Australia, through its worldwide Change a Life, staff giving program. This unique center provides a home, medical care and education to more than 200 HIV affected children.

These much needed funds will go 100% to support the Sunrise Children's Villages to give life, hope, education, health and a future to those who would otherwise have no hope of realizing their full potential.

I will be riding a total of 450km / 280 miles during our time in Cambodia.

Day 1 - June 27 Siem Reap (Spend day at Sunrise Orphanage)
Day 2 - June 28 Cycle around temples of Angkor (35km)
Day 3 - June 29 Cycle to Beng Melea - Kampong Thom (75km)
Day 4 - June 30 Cycle to Kampong Thom to Kampong Cham (80km)
Day 5 - July 1 cycle to outskirts of Phom Penh (65km)
Day 6 - July 2 Rest day in Phnom Penh (Visit Orphanage)
Day 7 - July 3 Cycle to kampot (85km)
Day 8 - July 4 Cycle to Sihanoukville (104km)
Day 9 - July 5 Transfer back to Phnom Penh
