<div>My name is Sandra, and my journey to motherhood began 16 years ago when I held my beautiful son, Josesito, for the first time. He was my heart, my joy, my reason to breathe. But life can be unbearably cruel — and now my sweet boy lives only in heaven. Not a single day passes without me longing to hold him again, to hear his laugh, to see his smile.

<div>Since losing him, I have carried one dream in my heart — to give him a little brother or sister. A baby I could pour all my love into. A piece of him I could hold, protect, and watch grow.

<div>But my road has been filled with heartbreak. I have suffered two ectopic pregnancies, both ending in emergency surgery and taking away my ability to conceive naturally. Along with the physical pain, those moments shattered my soul. <strong>IVF became my only hope of ever carrying a child again.</strong>

<div>My partner and I have already gone through two IVF cycles. Twice, I have given my body, my heart, and my hope to the process. Twice, I have imagined the positive test, the growing belly, the tiny kicks. And twice, I have been left with empty arms and a broken heart.

<div>IVF is not only emotionally draining — it is financially crushing. We have given everything we have — our savings, our time, our strength — but the cost is something we can no longer carry alone.

<div>Desde que lo perdí, he llevado un sueño en mi corazón: darle un hermanito o hermanita. Un bebé en el que pudiera volcar todo mi amor. Un pedazo de él que pudiera abrazar, proteger y ver crecer.

<div>Pero mi camino ha estado lleno de desilusión. He sufrido dos embarazos ectópicos, ambos que terminaron en cirugía de emergencia y me privaron de la capacidad de concebir de forma natural. Además del dolor físico, esos momentos me destrozaron el alma. <strong>La FIV se convirtió en mi única esperanza de volver a gestar un hijo.</strong>

<div>Mi pareja y yo ya hemos pasado por dos ciclos de FIV. En dos ocasiones, he entregado mi cuerpo, mi corazón y mi esperanza al proceso. Dos veces he imaginado el resultado positivo, la pancita creciendo, las pataditas. Y dos veces, me he quedado con los brazos vacíos y el corazón roto.
