Sandra's Study Abroad Trip to Peru!

Hello everyone! I recently got accepted into an Accelerated Public Health study abroad program for this entire summer term in Cusco, Peru! I will be able to advance my education and will have the opportunity to learn about global health and topics such as nutrition, sustainability, infections and disease, health disparities and minority health! This will all be paired with plenty of field work, as I will be serving local communities every week with outreach. This opportunity will not only allow for my own personal enrichment, but for that of the families and communities as well, since I will have the honor of serving them. This is a great stepping stone for the advancement of my academic and career goals. I will need all the help I can get though, as this trip isn’t cheap! The trip is going to cost around $11,000 alone, covering airfare, housing, and my classes/coursework, however, this is not including my own expenses while being in Peru.
