Music Music Music!
This is Sandi. She is currently in her Sophomore year at the Ithaca College School of Music pursuing a double major in Flute Performance and Music Education. Music has always been a big part of her life. At 19, she has already achieved a great deal as a flautist and is looking forward to sharing her talent to benefit young musicians. Sandi is a vibrant personality and a budding young leader who dreams of doing great things for others through performance and as a teacher. Sandi is community minded and enjoys using her time and talent to serve and bless others. Unfortunately, Sandi's dream may be coming to an end. We are unable to meet the Expected Family Contribution for next semester's tuition.
Over the last few years, our family has been hit hard financially, because of unemployment and health struggles with Lyme's disease. Both have depleted what savings we had and we almost lost our house. Sandi worked very hard all through High School to earn generous scholarships and grants to begin her studies at Ithaca. She has worked equally as hard These last 2 years to maintain those scholarships. To date, she has not received any additional scholarships/grants that would help ease the burden. Sandi has government loans but at this point private loans are not an option because we don't meet their requirements.
Please, would you consider investing in the life of a young person; in the lives of future generations of young musicians?
Philippians 2:4 says: Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.
