About us
We have been struggling with infertility since 2010, having multiple miscarriages including a still birth at 24 weeks, Layla.  Since then, we have been unable to sustain a pregnancy, through several IVF treatments. 
In a very emotional process, we are now heading to Barbados again in October or November after our unfortunate failed cycle  in July 2017 This journey has been financially taxing and Barbados is a legal and more cost effective alternative.  
Any donations to help us make our baby dreams come true will be appreciated from the bottom of our hearts.

Why?
Infertility is an actual common issue, it is actually classified as a disease. 1 in 6 couples will experience a form of infertility in their lifetime. 43% either has a friend, co-worker, famliy member that has been impacted by this.  
Often couples do not talk about this,
we want to bring awareness to this. 
- Next time you are asking a couple if it's not time to start thinking about children, maybe they have been trying already.
- Try to avoid giving advice when you have not been through fertility struggles, things like 'God has a plan', 'just relax, it will just happen', 'try this, it worked for so and so' or even 'Why don't you just adopt'. Although you probably mean the best, this often hurts the couple that has been trying for years with often multiple different attempts and approaches and still has been unable to conceive. When there are medical reasons, relaxing will not help, adoption is nearly impossible and everybody has a different fertility issue that needs different approaches, there is no one fits all approach.

Infertility treatments are not only very expensive ($15000 - $20000 per IVF cycle including medications),  they are mentally and emotionaly draining. If you know a couple struggling with infertility issues, talk to them, listen to their story, this will often help them.
