<div>Mini Motley Sanctuary is a safe haven for animals rescued from slaughter &amp; traumatic beginnings. Every winter the sanctuary hits hard times and we find ourselves struggling to cover the increased costs of looking after high-needs rescue animals in the challenging weather.

<div>In England we are facing a continuing hay shortage crisis, meaning that the cost of hay has doubled and the cost of delivering hay has also tripled due to the fuel crisis. This dramatic increase in costs is a financial burden that we couldn't have foreseen and sadly means we need to ask for help to fund our hay deliveries and sanctuary supplies.

<div>This summer has added to our worries, with 5 heatwaves and a drought leaving our fields bare of grass -which means we're in need of more hay than usual to keep our rescue animals fed, happy and healthy. We'll be more reliant than ever on buying in hay as we enter the autumn and winter this year, needing double our usual deliveries.

<div>We also urgently need help with paying for outstanding vet visits, medications and the next big hay delivery in September.

<div>We are a registered CIC. We've been running our animal sanctuary for ten years. We provide forever homes for rescue horses, rescue sheep and other animals that we've saved from slaughter, abandonment, abuse and traumatic beginnings. Our residents also have additional physical, mental and emotional needs - and they find peace and rehabilitation here with us at the sanctuary.
