Hello there! You can call me Sanchez :) I am a 27 year old nonbinary transmasculine person.
In the past I found myself lost. I felt as though I didn't know who I was or where I fit in. It wasn't until recently that I have had the opportunity to meet people from all around the globe who have supported and guided me through my thoughts.
While it's taken some time to reach this point, I can finally begin taking steps down my own path. One that leads to my true self. I have dealt with dysphoria related to my physicality for as long as I can remember, and pursuing my transition will lead to a happier life.
I am grateful to be in a situation that may allow for the coverage of hormone replacement therapy, but my desire is to have "top surgery" performed outside of Naval Medical. I am currently working hard to save my own money for this future procedure so that I may receive treatment from a specialists of my choosing.
There are countless LGBTQ+ individuals that are in greater need of financial support than I, as well as causes that can impact those in need. In these trying times, please do not feel any pressure to donate. Words of encouragement and support are just as precious and generous than any amount of monetary value could ever be.
