San Juan Dance students love their studio
Donation protected
San Juan Dance (https://www.sjd.dance/ ) has been a downtown Los Altos treasure and a second home to hundreds of fortunate students for the past 60 (yes!!!) years.
If you walk by the studio on any afternoon, you will see children & teens rushing into it, after a long day at school, with huge smiles on their faces. They go to SJD to learn to dance but they also form strong friendships with peers who share their passion. (Those friendships, we hear, often last a lifetime.) You will also see them leaving after classes tired, but with even bigger smiles. Through working with Miss Suzanne and Miss Jordan, children learn how to be graceful, strong, beautiful dancers but they also learn to collaborate, help others and thus become better people.
With the COVID-19 situation San Juan Dance has had to postpone classes and the future of this dance year and the bi-annual “That’s Entertainment” show is unknown. But the expenses for the studio are ongoing. I wanted to ask all of us, current and former students and parents, to rally together and give San Juan Dance a bit of financial relief to help them make it through the next couple of months. Please consider continuing to pay your monthly tuition (and benefiting from the online classes they offer) or donating here.
Anything helps.
