Samuth's Ceremonies & Funeral

Donation protected
Hi all,

Creating a GoFundMe page to support my dad's 7 day ceremony,  funeral, cremation, and 100 day monk ceremony.  If you've already donated at the home, don't donate twice.

Samuth Tep Sovan, 74, passed away on August 10, 2018 at his home in San Jose. He was the husband of Yoeurn Nou. They shared 50 years together.

Born in Kampong Chhnang, Cambodia, he was the son of Sorn Tep and Phat Sok.

Samuth was a devoted father and grandfather. He was also a great uncle to many of his nieces and nephews. Since coming to America in 1981, he dedicated his life working to support and cared for his family. He spent the last 7 years in retirement, enjoying his time with his wife, kids, and grand kids. In his spare time, he enjoyed gardening, landscaping, building stuff, painting, biking, and going on walks. An all-around type of guy with the biggest heart and a smile to matched it, he was well-loved by all those who knew him.

He is survived by Yoeurn Nou, Toda Sovan, Sareth Sovan, Chanphal Sovan, Chanmach Sovan, Chanmao Sovan, Sonny Sovan, Channa Oeur, Pat Soeung, Siyan Van, Keith Jordon, Andy Sovan, Amanda Sovan, Carolyn Keo, Regina Sovan, Mallie Soeung-Sovan, Pascal Jordon, Larsen Jordon, Chandonn Norfleet, Myles Jordon, Sylar Jordon, Peter Sovan, Anthony Sovan, Nathan Sovan, Chance Jordon, and Lathan Keo. He is also survived by his sister and brother in law, Yenn Prum and Phonn Riel, cousins, and many nephews, nieces, and their kids.

The funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 26, 2018 from 11:30 am at Oak Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park with cremation service at 2:30 pm. The viewing will be held on Saturday, August 25 from 8 am to 9 pm.
