Samuel NEEDS a Pool

My son, Samuel was born with a rare genetic disorder, Rubinstein Taybi Syndrome. If you’ve met Samuel, you know he is a happy 9-year-old boy, yet he has special needs concerning his health and development.

Samuel is unstable on his feet; therefore, the best exercise for him is swimming. When he was smaller we had an above ground pool. It was perfect. However, as Samuel grew, we were unable to get him in and out of the above ground pool without serious danger of him falling. The summer before last we did not have a pool which caused an excessive amount of weight gain, which, in turn, caused his joints to suffer. He had several ankle and foot injuries last school year that his doctors attribute directly to his excessive weight gain.

Also, Samuel is not potty trained. When he is in a salt water pool consistently, it greatly helps with his diaper rash. 

I said all all of that to say: Samuel NEEDS an inground salt water pool that he can use year round. 

We have plenty of room on our land but lack the funds to install one. 

Please help us help Samuel. I know if we all pitch in, we can do it!
