<div>Greetings from the MAF PNG Engineering team!
</div>
<div>One of our promising apprentices, Sylas Rank, passed away with TB late 2024. He had a great work ethic and gave excellent service to MAF over a period of about 3 years. The personality he brought to the team is very much missed.
</div>
<div>His younger brother Samson is seeking to enroll at Aiyura Aircraft Maintenance Engineering School <a href="https://www.facebook.com/aiyuraames" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><a href="https://www.facebook.com/aiyuraames" target="_blank" class="" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://www.facebook.com/aiyuraames</a></a> (near Ukarumpa, Eastern Highlands Province in PNG, where Sylas did his training many years ago).
</div>
<div>This fundraiser is for Year 1 of a 2 year course. The PGK 20000 ($AU7000) cost covers tuition, meals and board for one year. $AU1000 for incidentals is added to bring the fundraising total to $AU8000 - Samson will be a full time student.

<div><em>"My name is Samson Rank and I am writing to humbly seek financial assistance to help me study at the Aiyura Aircraft Engineering Maintenance School, in order for me to pursue my dream of becoming an Aircraft Engineer. I have been accepted into the two-year program, starting with the 2026 academic year. </em>
</div>
<div><em>I graduated from high school in 2023, but as I have siblings engaged in studies, funds necessary to for me to enrol are not available.</em>
</div>
<div><em>My brother Sylas passed away in October 2024. He was the primary breadwinner in my family after my father and another elder brother had earlier passed away.</em>
</div>
<div><em>I always loved hearing him talk about his experiences with MAF, and its vital mission to help people with both their physical and spiritual needs. He was a role model to me, who inspired my passion for aviation and service.</em>
</div>
<div><em>As a young man who is also building his relationship with God, I would like to continue the legacy of my brother to the isolated communities of Papua New Guinea, through his service with Mission Aviation Fellowship.</em>
</div>
<div><em>Thanking you for your time and consideration,</em>
</div>
<div><em>Samson Rank</em>"

<div>“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith.”
