Sams Sportschair Challange
Donation protected
Sam is 16 years old and has a rare genetic disorder called Spinal Muscular Atrophy type 2. This means that Sam is reliant on an electric chair for his mobility.
Since the the age of 8 Sam has been playing Power Chair Football for Sale United Powerchair Footbal Club and this has become his absolute passion in life. Sam lives breathes and eats football and being part of a team has provided him with the opportunity to compete in a competitive sport alongside other people who suffer with similar disabilities. Being part of a team, which we now consider our family has boosted Sams self-esteem and confidence. Sams dream is to become the first ever disabled football manager.
So... why do we need your help?
A new specially designed wheelchair has been brought out which will allow Sam to compete at championship levels and hopefully a promotion to the premiership next season. Without this wheelchair Sam will no longer be able to compete, which would not only break his heart but mine as a mother too and I am silmpy not going to allow this to happen. Sam faces barriers and challenges everyday of his life and this is one barrier we can break down together
Please help me to ensure that Sam can achieve his dreams and goals, because he more than anybody deserves to!
