What started from a challenge to pay it forward from my Sunday School teachers in 6th grade has turned into so much more thanks to your generosity and commitment to help me serve the Sam’s Meals for Many families.
For the last five Christmas seasons, we have been able to provide multiple balanced meals for over the Christmas break from school to families in need from the Lake Park-Audubon School District. Last year, even with Covid-19, 60 families received the Sam’s Meals for Many meal boxes created by local area restaurants with complete meal kits. Because of you, 253 people were able to be well fed with balanced meals from 9 area local restaurants over the Christmas break.
This year, we are going back to providing families with food boxes with all of the groceries to make multiple of meals for over Christmas break. We will be doing a community packing event as well.
