Our friends, Yves and Sammie, lost their home in a devasting fire on Sunday 20 November. Nothing survived. Clothes, furniture, memories, awards, photos, artworks - In 20 minutes, 73 years of Yves’ life was reduced to ashes.

Despite Yves’ impenetrable optimism, this Gofundme page will help smooth the transition to a new beginning by funding the necessary expenses i.e. finding a new apartment, a winter wardrobe, toys for Sammie, furniture and whatever it takes to rebuild their lives.

 They have been a fixture of our community, we owe it to them to help in this time of crisis.
