Sam Catlett's medical fund

Donation protected

On Thursday, September 21s, Sam was on a siding job in West Glacier when his ladder slipped from under him. At 12 feet in the air, his foot caught a ladder rung on his way down. the force of his weight caused his ankle to shatter and both his fibula and tibia were severely broken. His compound fracture meant a helicopter ride to Kalispell Regional Medical Center where he had a few moments to see his family and fiancee before being rushed into surgery. The surgeon was able to stabilize the injury with an external stabilizer, but unfortunately this is only the beginning for Sam. After 2 days in a hospital bed, we learned at least one more surgery will be required in just a few weeks (October 3rd.) Sam will be seeing a specialist to discuss the future of his ankle by the end of this week and will have a better idea of the surgery(ies) to come. This long recovery time means no income for 6 months to a year to pay the never-ending bills. Sam does not have medical insurance or workman's compensation benefits. Today we are asking for any help we can get to pay for Sam's upcoming surgeries, his hospital stays and for his everyday bills that don't stop just because he needs to. Any donation is greatly appreciated and means the world to Sam and his family.

If you cannot give financially but would like to help in some way, please consider groceries , bringing them a meal , or even a little "thinking of you" note.

Blessings!
