Sam Bachman's Medical Bills

Sam Bachman was involved in a serious car accident Sunday, April 28 that has left him in the ICU with numerous injuries - not only a traumatic brain injury, but a broken orbital bone, fractured vertebrae, both collapsed lungs, a broken collarbone, four broken ribs, missing teeth and a variety of other issues that he's fighting hard to overcome - along with having his spleen removed during surgery after the accident.

Sam is currently heavily sedated in the ICU with all sorts of tubes connected to him, but has opened his eyes several times, will squeeze hands and has feeling in all of his extremities. Visiting is limited, but his mom and dad, family and friends have all been at the hospital showing their love and support since he was admitted.

It's going to be a long road to recovery, but we've already seen positive signs from Sam this early in the process and know he's going to continue to fight to get back to 100% (hopefully not "literally" fight, for the nurse's sake, as he did on Wednesday night when he somehow ripped his breathing tube out).

Sam's family and friends are all extremely grateful for the outpouring love, support and prayers that have already come through, but we're also trying to do our best to help Sam return to normalcy as soon as possible during his recovery - which right now means we're trying to make sure he doesn't fall too far behind on his personal bills as well as preparing for all of the current and future medical bills that are unfortunately in his future.
