Samaya’s Home Going

On Tuesday, September 25th, our Family’s lives changed forever. Our niece, Samaya Carmel Belizaire-Arrendel was unexpectedly called home. She was loving, funny, smart, beautiful and had a smile that could light up a room. She was ONLY 17 and had her whole life ahead of her. Today was every parents worst nightmare. As I sat there and watched our family in shock mourning her loss I kept wishing it were a dream. Is this reality? What’s going on? This isn’t supposed to happen! Why??? So many questions, no answers. We weren’t ready for her to leave us. She was a Senior in High school at Prospect Hill Academy Charter School. Her parents are supposed to be visiting colleges with her, not funeral homes for her. She was supposed to go to New York this weekend with her Mother. She had BIG Dreams and was going to make sure her Family was taken care of.
She loved her Family and her Family Loved her.

Maya, I hope that Your Grandmother and my Mother were there ready to receive you with all of their Love. You will forever be your Mother’s Twin! You will ALWAYS be in our hearts and minds. We Love YOU! Keep smiling and watching over your Parents and Siblings.  

Not many parents plan for this. No parent thinks about their child passing before them. We have set-up this Go Fund Me page to help her parents with the costs to provide her with a funeral service. Please donate if you are able and more  importantly say a Prayer that God gives our Family Strength and Peace during this time.
