<div>Andy Hardyman. Born in Bristol 28th July 1960.
</div>
<div>Lifelong biker, motorsport lover, Kawasaki fanatic. For most of my life, Dad had bikes. He taught me to ride, to respect the machine, and how to treat the road. To enjoy motorbikes and all the fun that comes with them. He would work on bikes in the garage, teach me how they work, and give me the same passion that he had. I am organizing a bike rideout in Swindon to coincide with this fundraiser.

<div>He was an avid collector of cameras and a photography nut. His favourite football teams were Manchester United, and Bristol City. He was our teacher, our friend, my guitar partner, and concert goer. A lifetime of memories that I will never forget.

<div>Dad took his own life on August 13th 2025, and left a huge hole in ours, my mum, brother and sister, and everyone that knew him.
</div>
<div>I do not resent him for doing this, he bravely fought long and hard, and I am at peace with the fact he is now at rest. He is loved, and missed more than I can begin to describe.
</div>

<div>He leaned on support from the <strong>Samaritans</strong> frequently. It did not matter what state he was in, or what time of the night it was. They were there when he just needed someone, anyone that would talk to him. My goal is to raise funds to help them, and to raise the ever important fact that mental health is a silent killer. There is absolutely <strong>no shame</strong> in seeking help, and keeping services like this going is one step towards helping someone else, and maybe even rescuing someone, who, like my Dad, can't see through the fog.

<div>I hope we greatly surpass the goal of £1,000, and that my Dad's death can have a positive effect on someone struggling on the same path. <strong>It's okay not to be okay</strong>. And I hope through this tragedy, some good will come of it. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
