Hi,
It's taken me to this moment to start a go fund me page. At 36, I thought I had more time, almost made it to 4 years, but unexpectedly I went into liver transplant rejection which started last September. I have been in and out of hospitals for weeks at a time. I've been through extensive treatments trying to save my transplant , but nothing has worked. I am now on the transplant list with a meld score of 36, and praying not to top out at 40.
So I am currently at UCLA hospital, waiting for my 2nd transplant. We were told that if I do get discharged I will need to be within an hours drive to UCLA. Meaning I cannot go back home to Las Vegas. I/We were heart broken when we were told this. Also I will need to stay nearby for 2 to 3 months after transplant.
This has been an extreme financial hardship on my family. So I am asking for help. I pray everyday that I make it through this for my children and make it home so i won't keep missing all of their milestones. Taylor who is 18, will be graduating this June and continuing on with EMT school. Peyton 11, who's goal is to be playing for the MLB. I need to be on those sidelines cheering him on again. I pray that I make it for my husband and mom. I pray that I make it for my family and friends. Last I pray that I make it for me.
