Samantha's "Mother's Love" Fund

When I first met Samantha almost 10 years ago, it was in the context of mothering our young children. She was a brilliant, funny, loving, amazing mom to Noah; then only about 3 years old.
Over the next bunch of years, I had the honor of becoming close to Sam as she grew and birthed Rubin. She would come to my house for prenatal visits (I was a midwifery student at the time) and we would trade visits for her delicious muffins or treats. We laughed and cried together; something that we continued to do until the very end.
I love Samantha, and I have always loved her children and felt towards them like I do my own. I want nothing more for her than to be able to look down on what's happening here without her, and see and feel and KNOW that these two boys are being taken care of by other women, by a community that loves them.
I want these boys to dream of their future in the way Sam did. I want them to have the resources to do whatever it is their hearts tell them to.
The donated funds will be held in an account (Green River Private Association, managed by Jason Leister, a longtime friend of the family) for both Noah and Rubin, equally, until they are of age, at which point they will make their own decisions with this money. I am honored to help oversee the safe keeping of these funds; and I look forward to mentoring and loving the boys as they grow up!
This is a long-term fundraising effort but we'd love your help to get these savings accounts off to a promising start. Sam had so many people that loved her so I know it will not be difficult.
