Samantha's stroke recovery

Donation protected
On Thursday 2nd of May Samantha's life changed forever. After a week of feeling unwell things took a turn for the worst, Sam began to experience numbness down the left side of her body, which was followed by neck and back pain, slurred speech and loss of coordination. An ambulance was called and Sam was taken to Tenterfield Hospital where doctors suspected she was suffering a stroke. Sam was airlifted to the Gold Coast University Hospital where tests confirmed at the young age of 33 she had an ischemic stroke and as a result suffered damage to the cerebellum which affects balance, coordination, movement, posture and fine motor skills. Sam is still receiving treatment in the Gold Coast University Hospital which is over 360km from her home town of Emmaville. Sam's children are being looked after by family and her partner Greg or Bo as most of us know him by has been by Sam's side. Being separated from their children and so far from home has added to the already stressful situation and to top things off the bills are adding up. Being unable to work and with a long uncertain road to recovery and no guarantees they could use all the help they can get so please if you are in a position to help this young family out every dollar would be greatly appreciated.
