<div>It is with immense pain that I have to let you know that yesterday Sami was taken off life support after they determined she no longer had brain activity. She passed away last night.
</div>

</div>
<div>My heart, like all of yours, is shattered. Sam was a friend to me for nearly twenty years and has taken care of both myself and my dog countless times. She was a light in this world and we were all so lucky to know her.
</div>

<div>I will inform everyone on when and where the memorial and funeral will be as soon as I have details. In the mean time, please donate (if you are able) and share her go fund me to support her parents during this impossible situation.

<div>“With the deepest of sorrows I regret to inform you all that we have lost our beloved Sami (Samantha Whitney Coleman). Due to complications of an infection that took over the her body, going through dialysis as well as under going brain surgery in hopes of alleviating the swelling in her brain; this would give her a chance to recover. Her family and I are so very proud of the fight she put up trying to over come this. My heart is broken as I had to make the hardest decision of my life and letting Sami go but also honoring her choice of donating her organs. As Sami transitions onto the next phase please know how much all of your love, support, kind words, texts and generosities will help with her families grief as well as her funeral expenses. This has been such a tragedy for us all that we were not prepared for.

<div>I cannot express at this time how I adored my beautiful little girl. Sami was going through so much but always tried to keep a positive outlook and a smile on her face. Sami had such a kind loving soul that if she had the means she would’ve adopted ever kitty cat in the world. From her love of the theater, being a strong activist to always trying to teach the world about people with special needs, there will never be anyone like her again. I don’t think words will express how much I will miss my beautiful ray of sunshine. Please keep all of her family in your prayers.

<div>For those who haven’t heard Samantha Coleman was recently hospitalized for her health. She is currently in an induced coma in the ICU where she is receiving treatment. We all love and care for Sami and want to send her love and support through this difficult time.
