Shortly before noon on January 25th, a fire broke out at the home of Sam and Lizzie Hernandez. Thankfully, none of the family of five were at home. Sam was at work, Lizzie and baby Ariana (4 weeks old) were visiting her parents home, Ethan (age 7) and Charlee (age 5) were at school, and their two beloved dogs escaped unharmed.
Our brave fireman did a super job putting out the fire but unfortunately, the flames, smoke, and water destroyed all of the family's belongings, except for what they were wearing. Everything will need to be replaced from personal effects, clothes for the entire family, household goods, furniture, and food, as well as, the need for temporary and permanent housing.
We are so thankful that no one was harmed and for the outpouring of love and concern. Every donation of any amount, your prayers, and support are greatly appreciated.
