Sam, Jeffrey and Alexis Accident

Sam, Jeffrey and their 8 month old daughter Alexis were in a car accident on Friday, May 3rd, 2019. Sam and Jeffrey are in Shreveport. As of May 4th: She is stable and doing good. They had to put her on morphine to deal with the pain and have been working to stabilize her heart rate. She is resting now. It will be Monday before they do the surgeries to fix the breaks for good. Her left femur is shattered, right leg is broken in 3 places including ankle, knee, femur. Pelvis is broken also along with the right arm. They have the bones together, but they wanted to make sure she was good before the permanent fixes.

Jeffrey had surgery to fix his elbow today and it went well. 3 broken rib and 1 fractured. His leg is broken also. They have said that they may get him out of ICU and into a room tonight, but he doesn’t want to leave Sam. His spleen and liver have stopped bleeding and seem to be mending on their own! Alexis was checked out and is okay. Jeffrey will be out of work for a while and living expenses plus medical expenses will be adding up quickly.
