Sam and Gracey’s Trip to Kenya

Hello everyone! Sam and I have been given the amazing opportunity to go to Nairobi, Kenya and Nanaam, Kenya next July with our church, Lifespring. I got to go two years ago, and now I am so excited that Sam gets to see the place that stole part of my heart!

While we are over there, we get to partner with Missions of Hope International to serve them and learn more about their mission. Their goal is to “alleviate the affects of extreme poverty by empowering individuals to transform their families and communities.” Sam and I have always had a deep passion for helping children, so we cannot wait to spend time with all of the kids. We will also get to see our two sponsored children! I got to meet Esther back in 2022, so I am excited to see her again, then we will also get to meet Gift. We will be doing school visits, teaching basic fire safety, running a VBS, building relationships with the students, sharing the love of Christ, and learning about their culture! We are also so excited to travel to Nanaam which is in northern Kenya near South Sudan.
