Hey Zachery Family,
As many of you know Tekoah Zachery, Edwin "Bike's" youngest child, has been on a quest to find our family's history. It started off as a personal passion project for him and has turned into something much more powerful and priceless for our family. He has somehow become our "family historian!" I am so thankful for his passion and dedication because I know that many of us long to know our origin and become more connected with our ancestors.
Our goal is to have a solid collection of interviews, pictures, and anything that will tell the true story of us. Tekoah and other family members are doing the digging, so you and your descendants will not have too. He is tracing our family's history back as far as we can go. When Tekoah decided to take on the role as historian, he has used ancestry.com as well as interviewing our elders. Based on what was done thus far, we decided it would be more efficient for him to get better documenting equipment. He is documenting the story of OUR lives and it will be viewed by our descendants when we are all long gone. I want to help him do his best. Our family deserves it!
This Gofundme is for him to get better equipment for his interviews. He has planned to do some re-interviewing to get clearer audio and video. He also is traveling around the city getting interviews and I would love to assist him with gas money. Anything you have will help fund this mission will be appreciated! We have over 20 family members in our group. If everyone could donate at least $5 it will go a long way.
