<div>For everyone that knew my brother Sam, we are all hurting with the loss of an amazing human being.
</div>
<div>I am starting this fund to help support Sams 22 month old baby boy and his devoted fiancé who have been left without a huge part of their little family. The sudden passing of our Sam, who was just 29 years old is unfathomable. Sam was taken far too soon from us by a rare and aggressive form of streptococcal pneumonia sepsis, a condition that affects only around 3 in 100,000 people and carries a survival rate of just 15–20%. The illness progressed rapidly, overwhelming his body and leading to organ failure despite every effort to save him.

<div>Sam was a genuine, kind, and hardworking man who loved deeply and would do anything and everything for everyone around him. He took immense pride in his home a home he built with his own hands with the dream of one day passing it on to his beloved son, Rome.

<div>This fund has been created to help support Sam’s young family with funeral expenses and to ease the financial burden during this devastating time, allowing them space to grieve and focus on caring for Rome. Any contribution, no matter how small, is deeply appreciated and will help honour Sam’s memory and the life he worked so hard to build.

Sam, a brother, partner, father and son. Taken too young.
