PERCHE' LA RACCOLTA FONDI?

In questi giorni le personalità del mondo della creatività e della cultura sono diventate la bandiera della "resilienza" al Coronavirus. Canzoni, letture, consigli su film e libri, archivi digitali messi a disposizione, visite guidate virtuali e molto altro. La cultura e la creatività diventano la migliore via di fuga alla solitudine di questi giorni.

Eppure, quel mondo è spesso dimenticato quando si parla di emergenza "economica". Le prescrizioni, necessarie per la tutela della salute pubblica, hanno fatto venir meno la principale fonte di liquidità per le imprese e gli operatori culturali e creativi che, per oltre l’80%, sono freelance, lavoratori intermittenti, ditte individuali o microimprese, strutture molto fragili e pertanto da tutelare con particolare attenzione. Le stime ipotizzano che il 40% delle microimprese del settore non ce la farà a sopravvivere alla crisi.

In una regione come la Puglia, che ha fatto del turismo e della cultura una delle mete turistiche più richieste a livello internazionale, il rischio è di vanificare in pochi mesi gli enormi sforzi che in questi anni amministratori, istituzioni, operatori hanno posto in essere per far diventare la Puglia terra di bellezza, di arte e di creatività, trasformandola in una delle regioni più attrattive d’Italia.

Ecco perché, al termine di questa emergenza, i creativi pugliesi vogliono essere pronti a ripartire accogliendo il proprio pubblico con una programmazione ricca di eventi di richiamo internazionale.


WHY THIS CROWDFUNDING? 

In these days, many celebrities are becoming the symbol of the “resilience” to the Coronavirus. Songs, readings, tips on books to read and movies to see, digital archives made available, virtual tours in the museums, and more. Culture and creativity are the best “distraction” from the isolation of these days.

But still, the artistic sector is often forgotten when referring to the “economic” emergency. 
The requirements, necessary for the public health, have caused a lack of liquidity for the sector (more than 80% are micro or individual enterprises) and the recovery requires a special protection. It can be estimate that 40% of the micro enterprises in the sector will not survive to this crisis.

This becomes more evident in a Region where tourism and culture are the drivers of its economy at international level: within a few months, the risk is to see all the efforts made by administrations, institutions and professionals to make Apulia a land of beauty, art and creativity and one of the most attractive region in Italy, cancelled out.  

This is why, at the end of this emergency, Apulia creative people want to be ready to welcome their audience with a schedule of events of international appeal.

2. Realizzare eventi capaci di coinvolgere e rilanciare l’intero territorio pugliese e far diventare la bellezza, l’arte e la creatività i motori della rinascita

Ma la cultura è anche un mondo fragile composto da tanti artisti, performer, lavoratori a intermittenza e freelancer privi di qualunque tutela.

Non è ancora pienamente percepito quanto, la chiusura dei luoghi di cultura e di spettacolo, non sia solo una ferita per le anime e la socialità ma soprattutto un duro colpo per i lavoratori e le imprese del settore e di tutto il suo indotto.

Maybe, it is not evident how much the lock down of all culture and show spaces is not only a wound in the spirit of people and sociality of cities, but also a severe shock for the enterprises in this sector and for its turnover.
