<div>Hace más de 25 años un pequeño grupo de vecinos y vecinas, bajo el impulso del Proyecto Comunitario y hoy de la Fundación Canaria Proyecto Comunitario de La Aldea, soñaron con algo que parecía imposible: convertir la memoria viva de nuestro pueblo en un museo abierto al mundo.

<div>Así nació Museos Vivos La Aldea, una experiencia única en Europa, donde nuestras casas, nuestras calles, nuestros oficios, nuestra forma de vida y nuestras gentes se convirtieron en los auténticos protagonistas de un museo diferente, hecho desde el corazón de la comunidad.

<div>Por aquí han pasado ya más de 150.000 personas. Generaciones de escolares, familias, visitantes, investigadores y turistas han podido conocer de primera mano cómo vivieron nuestros mayores, cómo funcionaban los telares, las tiendas de aceite y vinagre, el gofio, la herrería, la barbería o el antiguo Almacén de Tomates, donde aún resuenan las voces de sus trabajadores.

<div>Pero hoy, después de tanto camino andado, esta experiencia corre peligro.

<div>Muchos de estos museos están ubicados en casas privadas que ahora están saliendo a la venta. Si no logramos adquirir estos espacios, Museos Vivos La Aldea podría desaparecer.

<div>Algunas instituciones ya se están acercando para conocer la magnitud del problema. Pero necesitamos el empuje de todos, de quienes han creído en este proyecto desde el principio, para cofinanciar la compra de algunos de estos inmuebles y garantizar así que este legado siga vivo.

<div>Aquí no solo se conservan objetos: aquí habita la historia de nuestro pueblo.
