Sallynoggin Pearse - Rise from the ashes

Sallynoggin Pearse, formerly Pearse Rovers FC   is a long established football club in Sallynoggin. It counts amongst its former players Paul McGrath the much loved former Man Utd, Aston Villa, Derby County and of course Rep of Ireland legend.
Sadly over time, the clubhouse has been damaged and deteriorating  due to anti-social behaviour with fires regularly being set,  damaging the facility severely. As per the latest update today July 21st, the clubhouse had to be demolished by the council because  of the damage previously caused and the constant anti social behaviour in and around it. We have no sanitary facilities, no electricity and no running water, and now no clubhouse.
We have no choice but to fund a temporary anti vandal clubhouse while the adjoining halting site is redeveloped.
A new board and football committee has come on board, and have already used personal finances to keep the club afloat, but funds are desperately needed to get a temporary club house installed and fitted, ensuring we can keep the club alive.
As a community club, our aim is to rebuild and provide the following to Sallynoggin and surrounding areas ;
- a club that will facilitate football for ALL levels of ability, no child will be turned away
- a club with transparent finances, with every penny accounted for
- a club that will be for the community, run by volunteers in the community, with no payment taken by volunteers
- a club that will provide a pathway to senior football, including an over 35s team
- a club to support mental health development and wellbeing with continued interaction with local mental health groups
- a club that Sallynoggin and surrounding areas will be proud of.

Any donation, however big or small is so much appreciated you will never realise, this is a club with a deep legacy of providing enjoyment to many, and we do not want to see it fall.
