Salisbury Cares: Help Feed Our Community!
The coronavirus outbreak has changed life as we know it across America, creating job insecurity, food shortages, and a housing crisis that is affecting millions.
This Holiday season, we ask you to join us in the Salisbury Point Community to help provide relief funds for those of us who have been affected. 100% of funds raised through this effort will be used to buy Grocery Gift Cards and donated directly to Nyack’s own Soup Angels. Soup Angels provides free, nutritious, homemade meals to anyone who is hungry, no questions asked. Among those they service are elderly persons, the working poor and their families and those who are homeless.
During this COVID pandemic, Soup Angels will continue to serve Monday & Wednesday evening with up to 140 “To Go” meals. Their “Bounty Table” full of groceries has been very successful.
We also understand that budgets may be tight this year, so sharing this post with friends or loved ones will also be greatly appreciated!
Soup Angels is currently not accepting food donations in light of CDC guidelines. All proceeds will be used to buy supermarket gift cards in order to provide fresh produce and supplies.*
