Monet's Study Abroad -Ireland- Fund
Hello!
Travelling has always been a dream of mine and I recently decided to study abroad in Ireland (the land of my ancestors) for the spring 2017 semester.
While in Ireland I plan to use my elective credits to take courses on Celtic studies, history and Irish culture. I have linked the university below for anyone who would like to check it out! (:
-
I am also keeping my eyes open for any internships or research studies abroad to fulfill requirements for my degree.
-
The money raised here will assist in making this dream a possibility (estimated budget below).
I believe that spending time in another country and immersing yourself in another culture is something every person should do at least once. There are some thing's that can only be learned through direct experience.
With all that said, here is a little bit about me...
I am a 23 year old college student at Cal State San Marcos. I work at Panera Bread Co. Full time when I am not in school and part time when I am in school.
I have a myriad of hobbies and interests but some of my favorites are reading, writing and photography. I plan to use these hobbies as a tool to share my experience in Ireland with all of my family, friends, and fellow travellers! This will be done through my blog and other social media outlets!
Thank you for the taking the time to read my story. I can't wait to embark on this exciting journey!
